What should I pack for Ooty?
Pack layers. A light jacket for the day, a heavy jacket for the evening, and comfortable walking shoes. Avoid high heels as Ooty requires walking on steep terrain.
Can I just show up and figure things out?
During peak season, definitely not. You will be stopped at the border if you don't have an E-Pass, and hotels often run at 100% occupancy. Always plan ahead.
